No. 1 Tennessee (43-6, 20-4 SEC) defeated Bellarmine (11-36, 8-16 ASUN), 11-5, Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The victory is Tennessee’s 28th consecutive win against nonconference opponents at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The Vols recorded 14 hits and three home runs in the contest against Bellarmine. Drew Gilbert, Trey Lipscomb and Blake Burke hit home runs for Tennessee.
Kirby Connell pitched 1.1 innings, totaling one strikeout and earned the win for Tennessee. The win is Connell’s second of the season.
Tennessee had 21 players compete against Bellarmine.
The Vols debuted its dark mode uniforms for the first time at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
