PHOTOS: LSU women’s basketball comes back to beat Alabama decisively

The Tigers overcame an early deficit to win their third-straight game.

LSU’s women’s basketball team found itself in an early deficit at home against Alabama, but the Tigers responded in the second half. Coach Kim Mulkey’s team seized control and ultimately pulled away to a convincing 85-66 win at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday afternoon.

[autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] recorded a 27-point, 19-rebound double-double as the Tigers dominated the boards, outrebounding Alabama 54-34.

With the win, LSU moves to 21-4 on the season and 8-3 in SEC play. It will have eight days off before returning to the court to face Texas A&M on the road a week from Monday.
