There will be a Game 3 in the national title series.
LSU was looking to close out the College World Series final on Sunday, but the Florida bats that had been cold in Omaha finally woke up. [autotag]Nate Ackenhausen[/autotag] struggled much more in his second start at the CWS than he did in his first, and LSU couldn’t get any offensive momentum going against the Florida bullpen despite chasing starter Hurston Waldrep from the game in the third inning.
The Tigers actually led 3-1 early in this one, but the Gators ultimately set a College World Series for runs in a game in the 24-4 win, and now LSU will face a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday night.
