PHOTOS: LSU beats Mississippi State 41-14 in SEC opener

The Tigers looked like they’re still very much a threat in the SEC on Saturday.

Some saw Saturday’s game against Mississippi State as a potential trap game for LSU, but the Tigers didn’t miss a beat despite the 11 a.m. CT kick-off on the road.

LSU jumped out to an early lead thanks to a couple of big plays, and a monster defensive performance kept the Bulldogs out of reach all afternoon in a 41-14 win. Offensively, it was a dominating performance for both [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] and [autotag]Malik Nabers[/autotag], who turned in career performances.

It was the kind of performance LSU needed as it prepares to get into the meat of its SEC schedule. Despite the disappointing start to the season, this still looks like a team poised to compete in the SEC West.

As LSU will now turn its attention to Arkansas, here are the photos from the win.
