Florida basketball pulled off the win in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Thursday night against the Georgia Bulldogs, 85-80, in a game that was close the whole way through.
In fact, the Gators went into halftime with a three-point deficit but eventually outdueled the ‘Dawgs to stay alive in the tourney. A balanced attack allowed Todd Golden’s gang to beat Mike White and his Georgia squad for the third time this season while keeping the former head coach winless against the Orange and Blue since moving to Athens.
