Florida football scored one of the biggest wins in the Billy Napier era during Week 3 against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Gators prevailed over their SEC East foes, 29-16, for the last time in the divisional format on Saturday night.
The Orange and Blue looked strong to start the game inside the Swamp, despite the special teams failing to come through once again. The first half was all Florida, while Tennessee showed a lot of life in the second.
Napier and Co. were dominant from beginning to end which should simmer talks of the hot seat’s temperature under the second-year head coach. UF’s offense was efficient and the defense proved it was not a fluke — despite a couple of burps along the way.
