Florida basketball took the 75-54 loss in a late-night tangle in the O’Connell Center on Wednesday against UConn Huskies who arrived in Gainesville with a perfect 9-0 record along with a No. 5 ranking. The game went pretty much as expected as the visitors overmatched the home team to win its tenth game of the season.
The loss sent Todd Golden’s team packing with a 6-4 record overall — a rough mark before Southeastern Conference play even begins.
