Florida basketball earned its first top-10 road win in over two decades on Wednesday night in Lexington with a 94-91 overtime victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Gators kept things mostly close throughout and went into the halftime locker room with a five-point deficit thanks to a nice little run in the last minutes. A tenacious second half and a timely three-pointer added another frame to the game, giving Todd Golden’s team a chance to prevail.
And prevail they did. Zyon Pullin (21), Walter Clayton Jr. (23) and Tyrese Samuel (22) all dropped at least 20 in the winning effort.
