The LSU baseball team had already likely solidified an NCAA tournament spot with wins in its first two games in Hoover at the SEC tournament, and on Thursday night, it punched its ticket to the conference semifinals as it seeks a No. 2 seed in the postseason.
The Tigers trailed 10-7 in the seventh inning, but four runs in the final two frames — including an RBI single from former Gamecock Michael Braswell III that proved to be the game-winner in the top of the ninth — solidified an 11-10 win for LSU.
Now, coach Jay Johnson’s team moves on to face either Kentucky or South Carolina again in the semifinals on Saturday. In the meantime, here are the best photos from the win.
