Former Gators running back [autotag]Dameon Pierce[/autotag] put on an electric performance on Thursday night for the Houston Texans, who helped lead his team to a 17-0 preseason victory against the San Francisco 49ers on August 25.
The fourth-round selection in the 2022 NFL draft only played in one series the entire evening — the opening 85-yard drive that resulted in a touchdown — tallying six carries for 37 yards and a 1-yard scamper for the score. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry while notching a longest run of 12 yards.
