PHOTOS – Boston at Atlanta: Celtics survive Hawks’ attack 128-120, advance to face 76ers

The Boston Celtics had a second chance to close out their first-round series with the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 on the road, and this time, they pulled it off — by a thread.

A much more dangerous version of the Hawks showed up and managed to push Boston to the limit for six games before falling 128-120 at home, the Celtics advancing to face the Philadelphia 76ers on May 1. Outstanding games from Jaylen Brown (32 points, 5 rebounds), Jayson Tatum (30 points, 14 boards, 7 assists, 2 blocks), Marcus Smart (22 points), and Malcolm Brogdon (17 points) won the day for Boston. Al Horford (10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks) held things down on the defensive end for the Celtics.

Let’s take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the Celtics’ Game 6 at the Hawks in the first round of the ’23 playoffs.
