It has been a long summer without football, but during the doldrums, the giants of the gridiron have continued to toil away at their trade in preparation for the upcoming season. While the fans pine for the return of their favorite fall sport, the players continue to leave their blood, sweat and tears on the practice field of their respective franchises.
Among those getting plenty of offseason reps is former Gators quarterback [autotag]Kyle Trask[/autotag], who now lines up under center as a backup behind the legendary Tom Brady with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team also brought in Blaine Gabbert to compete with the second-year signal-caller for the QB2 role, and it appears that there is strong competition for that second spot as summer continues to roll on with a good chance of Trask landing the job.
