It’s almost time for the start of the 2024 U.S. Open.
Wednesday means the final day of practice rounds, as the 156 players in the field get one more chance to traverse Pinehurst No. 2 and gather notes and get prep in before the third men’s major championship of the year. It’s a busy day, as the anticipation continues to build until the first tee shot is struck come Thursday morning.
Wyndham Clark is the defending U.S. Open champion, but world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the favorite coming in, along with PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele and No. 3 Rory McIlroy. Oh, and those three are paired together in the first round.
