You know it’s bad when even the mascot can’t stay awake. Uga, Georgia’s live Bulldog mascot, was caught napping during his team’s hammering of the No. 11 Oregon Ducks.
Oregon was hoping to march in Atlanta and stun the No. 3 Bulldogs team, but Georgia showed everyone why they are still among the favorites to win the national title.
They also showed that Oregon still needs a lot of work in order to be at that level. Georgia had a noticeable size advantage at nearly every position on the field and the Bulldogs bullied their way down the field time and time again.
It was also familiar territory for Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, who is now 0-4 against his former SEC rivals after the first three losses were at Auburn. Different uniform, same result.
Now the Ducks will lick their wounds, head back to Eugene and prepare for the rest of 2022, which begins with a home game against Eastern Washington.
