Arkansas fans, rejoice. The streak has ended.
The Razorbacks showcased a dominating effort on Saturday afternoon, knocking off Auburn, 41-27 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn.
The win snaps a six-game losing streak to the Tigers, and gives them their first win at Jordan-Hare Stadium since 2012. Head coach Sam Pittman was elated to cross another goal off of his list.
“(The win) means everything. Auburn is a good football program. To beat Auburn, they’re Auburn. They’re a good football team,” Pittman said Saturday. “Last time we beat them I believe was in 15 in overtime. Was my last year at Arkansas. I know they haven’t won as many games as they have in the past. But the team’s close. Have had some good games against good football programs.”
