What a legendary football camp!

DETROIT — It was a busy day at Tom Adams Field at Wayne State University, more than usual. While WSU head coach Tyrone Wheatley — the former Michigan football legendary running back and running backs coach — was in his new digs, he was joined by both some old, friendly faces, as well as some who were once foes.

Not only the did the major contingent of the Wolverines staff come out — every position coach was spotted at some point — so did the bulk of the Penn State, Illinois, and Rutgers staffs. Kansas’ Lance Leipold and his staff were there, as was Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck, Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker, and several others. Some programs didn’t send their head coaches — Wisconsin, Purdue — but had several staff members on-hand.

While we didn’t get a chance to stick around for the football camp and see five-star Bryce Underwood, we did manage to catch a glimpse of several of the faces that showed up in Detroit — including four-star athlete Boo Carter, Michigan commit Jacob Oden, and more. Here’s who we saw.
