You know it’s a big game on the college football docket when ESPN College Gameday comes to town.
It’s Eugene’s turn here in Week 7 as No. 3 Oregon hosts No. 2 Ohio State for what might be the biggest game in the history of Autzen Stadium,
The Gameday crew always says Eugene is the top place to go because of the fans’ interaction, the signs, and, of course, the Oregon Duck himself as the host. Unfortunately, the Duck’s best buddy, coach Lee Corso, couldn’t make the trip due to illness.
That didn’t let down the excitement among the big crowd that gathered around the Gameday set. The show began at 6 am local and it was still dark, but the fans started gathering at The Quad long before that.
We were able to have some photographers on the scene to take the best pictures in the early morning for what promises to be a special day at Autzen Stadium.
