Arkansas came up short yet again against Alabama, and dropped a hard-fought 24-21 decision to the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

One-possession losses are becoming harder to swallow this season.

Arkansas has lost four games by one score, the lone holdout being Texas A&M which was a 12-point defeat two weeks ago.

Alabama’s 24-21 victory in which the Razorbacks rallied but ultimately came up short was the 17th consecutive time the Crimson Tide emerged victorious against Arkansas.

KJ Jefferson threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, while Arkansas ran for 100 yards as a team, but couldn’t overcome the lack of production in the first half, which saw Alabama lead 21-6 at intermission.

The Razorbacks have one more game before a bye week, against Mississippi State next week in Fayetteville at 11 a.m.
