Philadelphia Eagles restructure the contract of WR Alshon Jeffery

In a move that could have some Eagles fans scratching their heads, Philadelphia has restructured the contract of veteran wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
What that means for Jeffery’s future in Philadelphia remains to be seen but with Roseman already starting the process of shredding salary cap space.
The veteran wide receiver is still likely to be released at some point, or he could stick around by signing an extension.
The Eagles could save about $23 million in cap space if they cut Jeffery and Malik Jackson with post-June 1 designations
