Philadelphia Eagles odds to win Super Bowl LVI

Analyzing the Philadelphia Eagles’ odds to win Super Bowl LVI.

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-8) punched their ticket into the NFL playoffs as the 7-seed in the NFC conference. They join 13 other NFL teams focused on Super Bowl LVI, which takes place Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

Philly opted to rest most starters in its 51-26 Week 18 blowout loss at home to the Dallas Cowboys after clinching an NFC Wild Card berth the week prior.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was 8-7 overall as a starter this season with a 61.3% completion rate, 3,144 passing yards, a 16 TD/9 INT ratio and a 48.8 QBR. However, Hurts led Philly in rushing yards (784) and rushing TDs (10).

Philly outscored opponents 26.1-22.6 per game and had the 12th-best offensive expected points added per play (EPA/play) and the 17th-ranked defensive EPA/play.

Furthermore, the Eagles excelled offensively on third down and in the red zone but struggled defensively in those high-leverage situations.

The Eagles have only beaten one team with a winning record this season (a 40-29 win over the 9-8 New Orleans Saints at home in Week 11). Philly has the longest odds in the NFC to win the Big Game.
