The Philadelphia Eagles have a need at the running back position and a player that we’ve mentioned before is now a player of interest.
According to Adam Caplan, the Eagles could have interest in adding veteran running back Carlos Hyde to the roster.
“They want to sign a veteran running back. […] The guy that I know they have some interest in, and we’ll see if it happens, is a guy that’s really, really talented. […] The Eagles, I’m told, have an interest in him. […] I’m told Hyde is a guy they’re targeting.
Last season with the Texans, Hyde rushed for 1,070 yards and six touchdowns. Standing 6’0″, 230-pounds Hyde would provide the Eagles with a tough, between-the-tackles running back that could compliment Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.
