The 76ers sit in the third seed in the Eastern Conference, percentage points ahead of the Boston Celtics and just 2.5 games back of the top-seeded Miami Heat. The 76ers are coming off a 113-106 win Monday over the Heat as 8-point underdogs, bouncing back from an ugly loss to the Toronto Raptors.
The Lakers are trying to stay afloat in the West, holding the ninth seed right now. They’re just 4-6 in their last 10 games but have won two of the last three, both as underdogs to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Raptors. Los Angeles’ offense has come alive, averaging 126 points per game in the last three games.

Money line
The 76ers aren’t as hot as they once were, but they’re the far better team than the Lakers and so long as both Embiid and SG James Harden are on the floor together, they have a great chance to win. Add in the emergence of PG Tyrese Maxey and the 76ers have a quality big three.
However, at -340, there isn’t enough upside to warrant a bet on the money line. PASS here.

Against the spread
The 76ers are 19-13-2 ATS on the road this season, significantly better than the Lakers’ 15-21-1 ATS record at home. When favored by 7.5-9.5 points, the 76ers are 5-5 ATS, so they’re decent when it comes to covering bigger spreads.
Bet the 76ERS -7.5 (-105) to cover the spread and win fairly easily.
Over/Under
The Lakers have an awful defense and though their offense has been scoring at a higher clip, they’re heavily reliant on James. The 76ers will snap the Lakers’ three-game streak of the total going Over by limiting their points in the paint with Embiid.
