The Philadelphia 76ers (6-15) and Chicago Bulls (10-14) meet in the Windy City Sunday. Tip-off from United Center is set for 1 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the 76ers vs. Bulls odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Chicago won 2-1 last season

Philadelphia beat the Orlando Magic 102-94 Friday while covering as a 3-point underdog. The Sixers played terribly in most facets of the game offensively, but they dominated inside with 56 points in the paint. The 76ers also forced 21 Orlando turnovers in the win.

Chicago lost 132-123 at home to the Indiana Pacers Friday as a 3.5-point underdog. The Bulls allowed the Pacers to shoot a whopping 60% from deep and 56.5% from the field. The loss ended a 2-game win streak for the Bulls.

76ers at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

76ers 117, Bulls 115

Moneyline

LEAN 76ERS (-116).

Philly is the more talented team, especially with all the members of its “Big 3” likely to play. The 76ers have also been putting things together as of late, going 3-1 in their last 4 games while the Bulls are 2-3 in their last 5.

This is a lean because the Sixers are a very confusing and unpredictable team and because the Bulls have beaten the Sixers in 4 of the last 6 matchups.

Against the spread

PASS.

I recommend passing here as I am not a fan of backing the same team for the ML and spread, but with the spread set so tightly, at -1 (-108), placing a small wager on the Sixers here is fine. However, I still recommend passing and betting on the moneyline and/or total instead.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 233.5 (-106).

The Under has hit in back-to-back games for Philly and is 3-1 in its last 4 games. The Under has also hit in each of the last 5 Philadelphia-Chicago matchups.

This is a lean because the Bulls are good offensively, averaging 119.9 PPG, while also being the easiest defense to score against in the league, allowing 123.6 PPG. Keep in mind the Over is also 4-1 in Chicago’s last 5 games.
