PFF thinks highly of new Badgers quarterback

The Badgers football team is still a long way from their 2024 campaign, but transfer quarterback Tyler Van Dyke did get some love from PFF this offseason.

Van Dyke announced in December that he was transferring from Miami (FL) to join Wisconsin for the 2024 season, leaving the Hurricanes after four years.

Pro Football Focus College has him as their second-highest rated transfer signal-caller heading into the upcoming college football campaign.

The quarterback took over as the team’s starting quarterback in 2021, finishing is Miami career with 7,469 passing yards and 54 touchdowns while throwing 23 interceptions over his three years as the starter.

Van Dyke will likely replace Tanner Mordecai as Wisconsin’s starting quarterback in 2024, though he will face competition from the likes of Braedyn Locke, Nick Evers and Mabrey Mettauer.
