Penn State WR Jahan Dotson confirms he’s met with Titans

Dotson could be an option for the Titans with the No. 26 overall pick.

The Tennessee Titans have met with Penn State’s dynamic slot receiver Jahan Dotson, the prospect revealed on Wednesday.

Dotson built off an impressive junior season in Happy Valley, hauling in 91 receptions for 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns this past year. He was also featured quite heavily in the Nittany Lions’ punt return game, averaging 7.4 yards per return on 14 attempts.

The Titans have a number of wide receivers headed for free agency, but if selected with the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Dotson would be a massive upgrade over Chester Rogers.

Adding more weapons for quarterback Ryan Tannehill is imperative heading into the 2022 season after struggled without A.J. Brown, Julio Jones, and Derrick Henry in the lineup.

Dotson was starting to be utilized more out of the backfield in 2021, rushing for six attempts, which could present another element to the Titans’ offensive scheme.

He could be a player that shoots up draft boards with an impressive NFL Combine performance, but Dotson has been widely mocked to Tennessee with the 26th overall pick.
