After flying out of the gates strong on Thursday, the Pelicans fell flat in the second half once again and lost to Utah for a second-straight game, 129-118.
New Orleans blazed out of the gates, scoring 43 points in the first quarter and knocking down every shot. But they followed that up by giving up 39 points to Utah in the second period and trailing at the half. Add in another miserable third quarter and the Jazz won going away for the second time in three nights.
Zion Williamson had 27 points, Brandon Ingram added 23 and Lonzo Ball added 14 in the loss. Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 36 points for Utah.
