The Hawks’ hot-shooting night from 3-point range proved plenty of necessary firepower to knock off the Pelicans on Tuesday, 123-107.

The Hawks’ hot-shooting night from 3-point range proved plenty of necessary firepower to knock off the Pelicans on Tuesday, 123-107.

Atlanta’s night was summed up in the third quarter when the team went a perfect 11-for-11 from beyond the arc and were 19-of-24 from range overall through the third period. Their 11 3-pointers were the most by a team who made all of their long-range efforts in league history.

Without Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, Kira Lewis and Nickeil Alexander-Walker, New Orleans lacked the offense to keep up with Atlanta on the night.

Zion Williamson finished with 34 points on 12-of-18 shooting. Eric Bledsoe had 14 points and Lonzo Ball 12 in the loss.
