Payton Pritchard highlights: Celtics reserve guard gets 14 points, 5 boards, 8 assists vs. Kings

The second-year guard’s role with the team is coming into focus.

We are starting to see a role coming into focus in the Boston Celtics‘ rotation of late for second-year reserve guard Payton Pritchard, who had himself another big game off of the bench on Friday night in the Celtics’ 126 – 97 blowout of the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.

The Oregon product put up a very solid 14 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal in just 21 minutes of floor time against the Kings, shooting a perfect 5-of-5 from the field, 4-of-4 from beyond the arc, and did not log a single foul or turnover (or free throw, but we’ll gladly take that with the rest) in his time playing Friday.

If you did not get a chance to see the game for yourself, or you would just like to see it one more time to get a better feel for how the West Linn native has been playing check out the clip embedded below to see the best of his plays from Boston’s big win over Sacramento.
