Hall of Fame Boston Celtics small forward Paul Pierce had the luxury of learning from the greats of the game who remained close with the Celtics after the dynasty of the 1960s and the title era in the 1970s and 80s. The Englewood native made up his mind at the end of his career as a player to pay that forward to a new generation of Boston stars, and he has been closer to the team as a result in recent years.

The onetime Kansas standout has put in the work trying to instill Celtics culture into today’s players, and he recently sat down with the hosts of the team-produced “View From the Rafters” podcast to talk about the process of mentoring a new wave of Celtics greats.
