Steph Curry is not just one of the greatest shooters ever — he is the greatest shooter of ever.
And one thing you don’t do when you’re playing the greatest shooter ever is challenge him to a shooting contest in the middle of a game with an opening night win at stake.
Paul George made that mistake on Thursday night and regretted it shortly after.
Now, don’t get it twisted. Paul George had himself a night. He scored 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished off 6 assists. He also hit 5 3-pointers of his own.
But, uh, Steph Curry is Steph Curry. More often than not he’s going to outshoot you. That’s what happened in his 45-point blister against the Clippers.
George told Curry to “make it interesting” for him. He challenged him to a shooting contest in the same game Steph had a perfect first quarter.
“Let me get one. I give you one, you give me one. I’m from the logo with it.”
Then, Steph did this to give the Warriors a lead late.

Sheeeeeesh. Guess he made it interesting for him.
You can always respect this type of confidence — especially from Paul George who is easily one of the best players in the NBA.
But, uh, man. That’s just tough from Curry. What a shot. What a game.
