In an interview earlier this week with the ESPN Wilde & Tausch radio show, the subject of Paul Chryst’s crewneck sweatshirts that he wears nearly every game-day was brought up.
After being asked why he wore them so much, Chryst replied because they were what was in his locker and the loose sweater had slimming effects. Coach Chryst continued to say that the crewneck is one of the most comfortable things for him to wear and that they stay so nice thanks to Wisconsin Equipment keeping his locker stocked.
Far from serious, this clip showed a fun side of Chryst that many may not usually see in his role as head coach. It is exciting that we will have a fall season to see more of Coach Chryst’s signature crewnecks.
"A good crew neck is pretty hard to beat."
