Patti ‘Mama Blue’ Hammond 1 of 3 finalists for NFL’s ‘Fan of the Year’

Seattle Seahawks superfan Patti “Mama Blue” Hammond has been named one of three finalists in the NFL’s inaugural “Fan of the Year” program.

The National Football League has now named the three finalists in the NFL’s “Fan of the Year” Program” and Seattle Seahawks superfan, Patti Hammond made the cut.

Hammond, known to 12s around the world as “Mama Blue,” joins Ian “Big E” Berger (Miami Dolphins) and Brandon Galloway (Tennessee Titans) as the first three finalists ever in the program’s inaugural season.

According to the press release, the NFL “Fan of the Year” program was “designed to spotlight fans who have a special affinity for their local team, provide inspiration to others and showcase how football unites their family, friends and local communities.”

A total of 35,000 entries were submitted this year, with each NFL team hand-picking its one team representative.

All three of the finalist will receive a trip and two tickets to Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay. The winner will be announced the night before during the NFL Honors show.
