Patriots Week 16 inactives: RB Damien Harris, DT Lawrence Guy, LB Ja’Whaun Bentley out

The Patriots will be down three staters.

The New England Patriots will be without three starters on Monday night in Week 16 against the Buffalo Bills. Running back Damien Harris (ankle), defensive tackle Lawrence Guy (shoulder) and linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (shoulder) were inactive while dealing with injuries.

The Patriots’ other inactives include linebacker Shilique Calhoun (knee), offensive lineman Marcus Martin and third-string quarterback Brian Hoyer. New England signed Martin on Monday. Receiver Julian Edelman will not play — he was designated for return from injured reserve, but it seems unlikely he’ll play in 2020, with New England eliminated from the playoffs.

The Patriots activated practice squad players Cassh Maluia (standard elevation) and Nick Thurman (COVID-19 replacement) to the 53-man roster for the game.

The Patriots and Bills kick off at 8:15 p.m.
