Patriots S Patrick Chung (ankle) exits playoff game vs. Titans

Chung limped off the field in the first quarter.

New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung exited his team’s wild-card playoff game against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium.

Chung appeared to suffer the injury on a 5-yard run by running back Derrick Henry during the first quarter. He limped off the field and into the blue tent before retreating to the team’s locker room for further evaluation. He was ruled questionable to return in the second quarter.

As soon as Chung stepped off the field, the Titans targeted his replacement, safety Terrence Brooks, for a touchdown to tight end Anthony Firkser. That gave the Titans the lead in the first quarter.

We’ll keep you updated in the event Chung returns.
