The New York Jets are making a change at quarterback, again.
On Monday, the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that the New England Patriots’ rival would be starting Connecticut native Tim Boyle at quarterback over Zach Wilson.
Boyle has been in the NFL for five seasons. He was promoted to the active roster on September 16. He replaced Wilson on Sunday and went 7-of-14 on the afternoon, throwing for 33 yards and an interception.
The veteran signal-caller was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He has also played for the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. He received extended action with the Lions in 2021, as he appeared in five games and started in three of them.
During that run, he threw for 526 total yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions.

The Patriots will face the Jets one more time in the season finale on January 7. There have been reports that starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers will try to return in December for the Jets.
The Patriots better hope that’s not the case.
