Patriots QB Mac Jones was in x-ray room after Sunday’s game

Mac Jones was seen entering the x-ray room after Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.

New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones reportedly headed into the x-ray room with team medical personnel, following the 20-7 season-opening loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss commented on it after the game.

There’s no certainty of what he might have been getting looked at, but it’s obviously something to keep an eye on moving forward.

The Patriots got dominated by the division rival Dolphins on the road. After a strong start to the game, things quickly unraveled and started breaking down around Jones, who stood in the pocket and took some good licks.

One of the biggest concerns for the Patriots entering the season was the struggles along the offensive front. Granted, the unit did have some good moments, but there were also too many of those head-shaking moments that continued to cost the team on the field.

If they’re not careful, it could end up costing them their quarterback as well.
