Patriots hiring Rams offensive assistant Jedd Fisch

The Patriots are hiring Jedd Fisch away from the Rams.

The Los Angeles Rams have lost yet another coach from Sean McVay’s staff. As first reported by the Boston Globe and confirmed by ESPN, the Patriots are hiring Rams offensive assistant Jedd Fisch to their staff.

Fisch has spent the last two years with the Rams, first serving as a senior offensive assistant in 2018 before being promoted to assistant offensive coordinator in 2019. He was previously UCLA’s offensive coordinator for one year.

Fisch joins Wade Phillips, Skip Peete and John Fassel as assistant coaches who are no longer with the Rams after either leaving for other opportunities or being let go by the organization.

The Rams replaced Phillips with Brandon Staley as their new defensive coordinator, but they have yet to hire a new special teams coordinator or running backs coach.
