The New England Patriots will begin their official training camp this week. The rookies are already in the building and the team’s veterans will report to camp on Tuesday, July 26. Public practices will be held from July 27 to 30 starting at 9:30 am with gates opening at 8:00 a.m. New England will take off July 31 before returning to work from Aug. 1 to 4. The August dates are tentatively scheduled to begin at the same 9:30 a.m. start time with the gates opening at 8:00, though those times are subject to change.
Additionally, the Patriots also announced that they will host two joint public practices with the Carolina Panthers on August 16 and 17, with a time still to be determined. Those practices will take place prior to the preseason game versus the Panthers at Gillette Stadium on August 19 at 7:00 pm.
