Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a long-term contract with the team that drafted him in the first round in 2017. Now, the Super Bowl MVP is adding more roots to KC as he has become part of the ownership group of the Kansas City Royals, American League team.

Mahomes has plenty of baseball history as his dad pitched in the major leagues for many years.
