The NASCAR Xfinity Series is starting to round out its driver lineups for the 2024 season, with the first race weekend at Daytona International Speedway coming quickly. [autotag]SS-Greenlight Racing[/autotag] is one of those organizations as they look to find the best pathway to becoming successful in the sport. On Thursday evening, one big domino fell for the team’s plans.
SS-Greenlight Racing announced that [autotag]Patrick Emerling[/autotag] will be the majority driver of the No. 07 Xfinity car in 2024. Emerling has spent time with Joey Gase at Emerling-Gase Motorsports; however, he is no longer a part of the race team following this announcement. Emerling has co-owned the entries with Gase since 2022.

SS-Greenlight Racing earned its first Xfinity Series victory with Cole Custer at Auto Club Speedway in 2022 and hasn’t achieved much success since that point. The organization is looking to grow, and it will help to have a driver who runs a majority of the races to develop consistency. With the 2024 season nearing, it’ll be interesting to see who else SS-Greenlight racing signs.
