Not too long before the Carolina Panthers kicked off their final practice week of the 2021 campaign, we learned that Terrace Marshall Jr.’s season had been cut a game short. Unfortunately, he may not be the only receiver missing from the offense in Week 18.
Fellow wideout Robby Anderson was not on the field for Wednesday’s practice due to a quad injury. He was one of five Panthers who did not participate ahead of the season finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Injury | Wed. | Thurs. | Fri. | Game status
WR Robby Anderson | Quad | DNP
CB Stephon Gilmore | Groin | DNP
S Sean Chandler | Groin | DNP
DE Yetur Gross-Matos | Illness | DNP
WR Shi Smith | Illness | DNP
CB CJ Henderson | Knee | Limited |
Also out was Gilmore, who missed Week 17’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. So Gilmore, who is set to enter free agency this offseason, could have very well played his final game as a Panther.
