When Cam Newton returned to the Carolina Panthers a week ago—he brought energy, excitement and hope. Apparently, he’s also brought some magical healing powers . . . or everyone’s just doing fine and dandy on their own.
Thursday’s injury report for Carolina ahead of their Week 11 matchup with the Washington Football Team came up the cleanest it possibly could. Every player who was available to practice, practiced—and did so in a full capacity.
Feast your eyes on the beauty:
Injury | Wed. | Thurs. | Fri. | Game status
DE Marquis Haynes Sr. | Foot | DNP | Full
LB Frankie Luvu | Shoulder | Limited | Full
CB Rashaan Melvin | Hand | Full | Full
CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III | Toe | Full | Full |
Each of the four men who were listed on the initial report, most notably Haynes Sr. and Luvu being as though they were held back on Wednesday, were all green lights this afternoon.
This, of course, is an extraordinary and unlikely scenario—especially for a team who’s yet to even have its bye week. But, as we’ve come to learn over the past seven days for the Panthers, we must expect the unexpected.
