Panthers’ Frank Reich happy to root more for Bills since he’s in the NFC now

Back to being in #BillsMafia (sort of):

Once upon a time, Frank Reich went from longtime Buffalo Bills quarterback to the face of the Indianapolis Colts as their head coach.

He had some stops in between… actually, one that he’s returned to again: The Carolina Panthers.

Reich was fired as Colts coach in the middle of last season. Since then, he’s gone on to be hired by the Panthers as their bench boss.

The 61-year-old admitted that move will allow him to make one personal change.

Indianapolis, an AFC team, will continue to see Buffalo in their sights often. Reich now resides in the NFC with Carolina.

Sure, the Panthers and Bills could faceoff eventually, but far less often now. Their paths to the Super Bowl won’t at all.

During the combine, Reich chatted with the Bills’ radio show. He admitted his Buffalo fandom is back because of these new circumstances.

“As a former Buffalo Bill who does–especially now that I’m in the NFC–Now I can root even harder for the Bills,” Reich said. “I’m excited about what’s going on up there.”
