It may have been in front of a less-than-full crowd and it may have happened for just the second time this season, but the sounds of “Sweet Caroline” graced Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.
The Carolina Panthers walked off on the visiting Atlanta Falcons in Week 15, as a 23-yard field goal from kicker Eddy Piñeiro sealed a 9-7 victory. Although the Panthers are not exactly where they hoped they’d be, there’s no doubting there’s some feel-good vibes from a wet and wild afternoon.
And those vibes were (finally) felt by the Carolina faithful again . . .
