The Carolina Panthers will have at least three prime-time games in 2023.
As announced by the NFL on Wednesday afternoon, the Week 3 preseason matchup between the Panthers and the Detroit Lions will be nationally televised by CBS. The summer finale, which’ll take place at Bank of America Stadium, is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
This guarantees Carolina their third visit to the national stage this upcoming season. They are already set to host the New Orleans Saints on a Monday nighter in Week 2 and will travel to Chicago to take on DJ Moore and the Bears for a Thursday night clash in Week 10.
Preceding their dress rehearsal with the Lions are their matchups against the New York Jets and New York Giants. The first will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET in Charlotte with the second coming less than a week later in the Meadowlands on Friday, Aug. 18 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
