Derek Stingley Jr. – No. 12, Minnesota Vikings
Easterling has a similar projection for Stingley as many other mocks. He has the talented cornerback going off the board to the Vikings at pick No. 12.
This is a great scenario for the Vikings, who get a fantastic blend of need and value with this pick. Stingley’s 2019 film looked like a top-five lock, but injuries and inconsistency over the past two years have left more questions than answers. Still, his upside is through the roof if he can stay healthy, making him a potential steal here.
Minnesota lost veteran Patrick Peterson this offseason in free agency, and in Stingley, it could retool the group with a young player that has tremendous upside, if he can stay healthy.
