A pair of University of Tennessee softball players have been honored by the Southeastern Conference.
Kiki Milloy was named SEC Player of the Week and Ashley Rogers was named Pitcher of the Week.
The honors come after No. 17 Tennessee winning its three-game series at South Carolina and sweeping a midweek doubleheader against Tennessee State at home on April 14.
Milloy, the Lady Vols’ sophomore center fielder, has recorded seven hits in Tennessee’s last five games. She scored three runs and knocked in another last week.
Rogers (19-5) had three wins and a save last week.
The junior hurled a pair of complete games and had 35 strikeouts. She went 3-1 against the Gamecocks and Tigers.
