Pair of Florida State transfers taking visits to Colorado over weekend

A pair of Florida State transfers are in Boulder visiting this weekend

As first reported by NoleGameday on Friday, recent Florida State transfers Brendan Gant and Derrick McLendon II each posted on their Instagram pages that they’re in Boulder taking visits to CU this weekend.

Gant, a redshirt junior linebacker, recorded 33 total tackles last year while McLendon had 37, including five for a loss with 3.5 sacks as a defensive end. The redshirt sophomore McLendon was also one of six recipients of FSU’s Bill McGortha Award, given to the team’s top humanitarians.

With Colorado’s first spring football game under head coach Deion Sanders set for Saturday, the Buffs added a commitment from another defensive end on Friday in Robert Morris transfer Tristan Marois.
