The Green Bay Packers selected Kentucky cornerback Carrington Valentine at No. 232 overall in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft.
Valentine produced 119 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, 17 pass breakups and one interception over 35 games and 25 starts. He led Kentucky in pass breakups (11) in 2022.
At the combine, Valentine (5-11, 193) hit 39″ in the vertical leap and covered 10-8 in the broad jump. He ran 4.44 and finished the short shuttle in 4.15 seconds at Kentucky’s pro day. His Relative Athletic Score is 9.30 out of 10.0.
The Packers will make four picks in the seventh round.
