Packers’ season finale vs. Bears to be played at 3:25 p.m. on Sunday

The Packers will host the Bears at 3:25 p.m CT on Sunday, Jan. 7. A win at Lambeau Field would clinch a playoff spot for the Packers.

The season finale between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field will be played at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday, Jan. 7 and will be broadcast by CBS, the NFL announced on Sunday night.

The Packers cruised past the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, setting up a scenario where a win over the Bears at Lambeau Field next Sunday will clinch a playoff spot for Matt LaFleur’s team.

The Bears are 7-9 after winning four of the last five games but are mathematically eliminated entering the season finale. Chicago beat the Atlanta Falcons 37-17 on Sunday.

The Packers and Bears will be one of eight games played in the 3:25 p.m. timeslot. The primetime game — the final regular season game of the year — will be the Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills, or the AFC East title game.

The Packers were in a similar spot last year — needing a win at home to clinch a playoff spot — but lost to the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field in the season finale.
